Composes with sumRange_comparisonTest's own output (applied at fun k => abs (a k)) to give the comparison test on a SIGNED series a, which sumRange_comparisonTest cannot take directly since its first hypothesis is forall k, 0 <= a k. This is what makes the comparison and ratio tests usable on a signed series -- named explicitly in this batch's brief.
